Megawati Buka Suara Soal Bencana,Teganya Dia Bilang Begini!
Mantan Presiden Indonesia sekaligus Ketua Umum PDIP Megawati Soekarno Putri menyampaikan bahwa dia melakukan hal yang lebih baik kala menjadi Presiden saat menghadapi bencana. Megawati bercermin pada bencana gempa dan tsunami yang terjadi di Palu dan sekitarnya pada Jumat lalu.
Mantan Presiden Indonesia itu membandingkannya dengan saran yang dia berikan pada masyarakat Jawa Tengah untuk menghadapi Erupsi Gunung Merapi.
"Saya bilang bikin latihan. Di mana tempat mereka lari. Di mana mereka harus siap. Dibilang 'Tapi peralatannya tidak ada bu'. Pake kentongan. Apa gak bisa? Kita punya," jelas Mega dilansir oleh IDNTIMES (8/10).
Megawati menambahkan bahwa bahwa dari duku Indonesia menggunakan kentongan untuk memberi tahu adanya bencana. Jadi menurutnya tidak perlu alat-alat canggih, gunakan saja pentongan.
"Dari zaman dulu, untuk early warning system itu kentongan. Tidak perlu menunggu dipasang alarm yang menunjukkan, rusak gak dijaga. Udah dipasang, gak ada lagi yang lihat," lanjut dia.
Bagi ketua umum PDIP itu, kritik yang ia sampaikan ini merupakan kritik yang membangun. Dia sempat menyampaikan kritik tersebut kepada Presiden Joko Widodo untuk memperkuat sistem peringatan bencana di Indonesia.
"Pak Jokowi sangat mengerti apa yang saya keluhkan. Ayo Pak segera. Ini bukannya saya kampanye, kalau menang, segera ini dibangun tapi sebelumnya harus sudah disiapkan mana daerah-daerah yang kemungkinan," tuturnya dilansir dari IDN TIMES
